Meet Brielle Bird

You can contribute to Brielle's cancer treatment by donating to the Bird family directly through Venmo @Givehopebox or purchasing tickets to Frozen Jr. at The Hopebox Theatre.

We are the Bird family. Brielle is our oldest. She is 8 years old and is a total girly girl. She loves everything Frozen/Elsa, pink, mermaids, makeup, unicorns, barbies, singing, and sparkly dresses!

On June 5th, 2020, Brielle was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma. She completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy treatments, 2 bone marrow transplants, 12 rounds of radiation, 6 rounds of immunotherapy, and weeks of at home meds. We rang the bell after 2 years of treatment, and felt like we were finally “free”.

Brielle was considered cancer free for 22 months, and unfortunately on January 17th, 2024, we found out that she had relapsed. Her cancer is back, and it has spread everywhere, including spots that were not there before. Relapse treatment is unfortunately unknown. It’s all a guessing game, the statistics aren’t great, but our sure God is. We couldn't do it without this army!
