Wendy Thurman is an incredible mother and wife. Her family resides in West Kaysville and together with her husband Chad, they have three children and three fur babies (standard poodles). They have an older daughter and a set of fraternal twins. In April 2018, four months after giving birth to the twins, Wendy was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML).
She also struggles with other health conditions in addition to cancer, which leads to severe fatigue and pain. Their son (one of the twins) suffers from several severe health conditions, which causes Wendy to be a full-time caretaker for her child in addition to her own battle for good health.
Wendy loves the color Forest Green, she also loves Coke Zero and Snickers candy bars. Her family values the time they get to spend together and vacations to places like the Oregon Coast, California, and Walt Disney World.
Wendy is currently taking an oral chemotherapy medication which is intended to keep her cancer at bay, but she will always have cancer. She is grateful for all the valuable time she gets to spend with her family. Wendy and The Thurman Family would like to thank the community for their support during this run of Fiddler on the Roof.
You can help Wendy and her family by purchasing tickets to Fiddler on the Roof at The Hopebox Theatre and donating to them directly through Venmo: @givehopebox.
